The University of Silvaner offers internationally structured academic qualifications through Distance Learning programs designed for adult learners and working professionals.

1. Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Science (BSc)

The Bachelor’s Degree corresponds to a three-year undergraduate qualification within the international higher education framework. Depending on national educational regulations, some institutions may offer one- or two-year undergraduate completion pathways.

The University of Silvaner’s Bachelor’s programs require the completion of 120 academic credits beyond secondary education (or its equivalent).


2. Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MSc) / Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Master’s Degrees are postgraduate qualifications typically completed after a Bachelor’s Degree and usually correspond to two years of academic progression within the international education system.

The University of Silvaner offers:

  • Master of Arts (MA)
  • Master of Science (MSc)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Master’s programs require the completion of up to 40 academic credits beyond the undergraduate level.


3. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) represents the highest academic qualification within the international education system and is the only doctoral-level academic degree obtainable via Distance Learning at the University of Silvaner.

Doctoral programs require the completion of 65 academic credits beyond the Master’s Degree level and the successful submission and defense of an original doctoral thesis.


Accreditation & Academic Framework

The University of Silvaner operates as an independent private international institution offering career-oriented Distance Learning programs for adult learners.

Academic credits earned through:

  • APEL – Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (professional experience)
  • OCC – Other College Credits (previous academic studies)

may be evaluated and applied toward program completion, potentially reducing both the duration and total cost of the chosen degree program.


Enrollment Process

Prospective students may apply by submitting a request for the Application Form via the University’s official admissions email, indicating the desired academic program:

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • Master of Arts (MA)
  • Master of Science (MSc)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Applicants are encouraged to attach a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV) for evaluation.

Application processing typically takes 5 to 10 working days. Following assessment, the University issues a Provisional Certificate of Acceptance, which includes:

  • Validated academic credits from prior education (if applicable)
  • Professional credits awarded through APEL
  • Remaining academic credits required for graduation
  • Estimated program duration
  • Total program cost

The Provisional Certificate is non-binding and allows candidates to review their academic pathway prior to formal enrollment.


Formal Enrollment

Upon acceptance, applicants receive:

  • Application Form
  • Payment Plan

To confirm enrollment, these documents must be completed, signed, and returned to the University.

The enrollment process is finalized within 6 to 12 working days, after which students receive:

  • Certificate of Enrollment
  • Personal Student Identification Card

Once tuition payment is verified, students are provided with a personalized study program based on their academic and professional background.


Tuition Fees

Program costs are determined by the number of academic credits required for completion:

Credits obtained through previous academic studies or validated professional experience are deducted from the total program cost.

For example:

  • Full Bachelor’s Program:
    120 Credits × $70 = $8,400 USD
  • With 70 APEL Credits Awarded:
    50 Credits × $70 = $3,500 USD

A 20% tuition discount is available for combined multi-program enrollments:

  • Bachelor’s + Master’s Degree
  • Master’s Degree + PhD

Program Duration

Program duration varies depending on:

  • Student commitment to study and research
  • Academic credits transferred from previous education
  • Professional experience validated through APEL

Students are supported by academic Supervisors throughout report writing and thesis development, ensuring guidance without imposing rigid academic deadlines.


Graduation Requirements

Graduation processing typically occurs within 60 to 90 days following submission of all required reports or the final thesis.

Graduates receive:

  • Original Degree Certificate
  • Exhibition Copy of Degree
  • Official Academic Transcript

Upon request, internationally notarized and Apostille-authenticated documentation may also be provided.


Refund Policy

Students may withdraw from their program at any time under the following conditions:

  • Withdrawal within 30 days of enrollment: 100% refund
  • Withdrawal within 90 days of enrollment: 50% refund
  • Withdrawal beyond 90 days: No refund

For academic or administrative assistance—including report submission, study material inquiries, or procedural clarifications—students may contact the University Secretariat. Academic Supervisors remain available throughout the research and thesis-writing process.
